Biography

Julie Legrand received the master’s degree in electromechanical engineering from UCLouvain, Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in surgical robotics from KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 2021.,She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Robotics and Multibody Mechanics Research Group, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Brussels, Belgium. She is working on self-healing soft robots, funded by a Research Foundation—Flanders (FWO) Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship. Her research interests include soft robotics and surgical robotics.(Based on document published on 6 March 2023).
