Biography

Anton V. Bourdine received the Ph.D. degree from the Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (PSUTI), Samara, Russia, in November 2002, and the Doctor of Technical Sciences degree from Ufa State Aviation University (USATU), Ufa, Russia, in December 2013. He embarked upon the career in fiber optics and in telecommunications from LLC Research and Development Company “CAM,” Samara, Russia, in 1996, when he was involved as a technician and an engineer in design, installation, mounting, testing, and maintenance both of aerial and underground fiber optic links of WANs, MANs, and LANs for various Russian telecommunication and oil/gas/railway branch companies.
