Qing Xie was born in Hubei, China, on October 11, 1963. She received the B.M.S. and M.Sc. Med. degrees in rehabilitation from Hubei Medical University, Hubei, China, in 1987 and 1999, respectively.,Currently, she is the Director of the Rehabilitation Department, Rui-jin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China. Since 2004, she has been a Professor in the School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interests are in the field of rehabilitation and rehabilitation engineering.
