Biography
Gianluca Alaimo was born in Palermo, Italy, in 1976. He received the master’s degree in mechanical engineering, the master’s degree in biomechanical engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from the University of Palermo, Pavia, Italy, in 2012, 2013, and 2018, respectively.,He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Pavia, Pavia, where he is also jointly responsible of the 3-D printing laboratory. His research interest actually covers additive manufacturing with the related new materials and printing technologies, optimization techniques, and numerical simulation of manufacturing processes.(Based on document published on 15 July 2020).
