Optimization Method of Battery Energy Storage System Cluster Based on Microgrid

This paper mainly studies the combined energy system with the lowest equipment cost, the best power matching, and the best smoothness of renewable energy power. In this paper, a novel optimal control scheme of energy storage system is established based on the double closed-loop PI controller. Through the simulation calculation, it is concluded that the energy storage device can effectively reduce the voltage fluctuation of the generator when the generated power of the wind turbine and the solar power change. It can maintain the power balance of various components of the system. Under load conditions, the battery will absorb more power to achieve a parallel charging condition. It can well adapt to the needs of power users in terms of power quality, power supply reliability, and safety.
