Morse Code-based Communication System for Partially Paralyzed People

This study introduces a system that assists Quadriplegics with speech impairments and minimal finger movements to communicate with others to make their life easier. The system aids them to communicate with others with ease by using Morse Code, which is easily decipherable. The Morse Code communication is constructed with dots and dashes. The variation from other Morse code communication systems is the introduction of text messaging, and additional features like Real-time display and Text to Speech (TTS) so that the communication required is done fast and efficiently. The system is used for messaging the recipient as well as establishing a short distance communication via the displayed board and the Text to Speech. Node MCU ESP8266, POT, pushbuttons and mobile app are used to accomplish the objective.
