Improved RSSI Based 3D Localization for Indoor Wireless Sensor Network

In the field of indoor localization research, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are crucial. The Received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is a prominent statistic frequently utilized for localization in various fields of application scenarios. As the global positioning system (GPS) is unreliable indoors, some indoor localization systems based on WSNs have been developed. The location- and distance-based strategy has made extensive use of the received signal strength indicator (RSSI).and has proven to be a reliable yet simple statistic. One of the key issues we faced was locating a node's position and eliminating localization errors, which prompted us to develop a simple yet precise approach for determining the nearest actual value. After deploying 3D simulation using the Cooja simulator, we used Incremental Analysis to determine the accurate position of node placements in three dimensions(3D). This paper is considered as a simulation, and it can be useful in real-world situations.
