Heart Attack Detector: An IoT based solution integrated with cloud

Monitoring heart rate is an important part of keeping heart healthy. The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and sensors has led to substantial breakthroughs in the medical industry. Sensors and an IoT enabled health care system have enabled monitoring and controlling of patient data. For optimal monitoring of patients, a medical professional should be near the patient for direct planning and evaluation. Having a specialist on hand just in case to assess the condition for therapy, give drugs, and so on is not practicable owing to their scarcity and excessively hectic schedules. As a result, remote patient monitoring is the greatest alternative for ensuring that patients receive proper treatment. For the same goal, an IoT-based solution that can detect the heartbeat based on the output of a hardware device consisting of a pulse sensor has been created. An alarm call system is introduced, which is initiated whenever the heartbeat falls below or exceeds the allowable level specified in the algorithm. The firebase from google cloud is used for the storage of Beats Per Minute (BPM). Using this model, nurses or on-call doctors at the hospital may check the person's heart rate remotely using a real-time monitoring device.
