Optimal design of U-shaped evaporative cooling radiator for high frequency transformer

In order to achieve the goals of "high efficiency", "high power density" and "high reliability" of Power Electronic Transformer (PET), the heat dissipation technology of High-Frequency Transformer (HFT) as a key component is facing a severe test. Based on the structure of HFT, a U-shaped evaporative cooling radiator is proposed, which can further improve the heat dissipation efficiency of HFT. By optimizing the passage structure of the U-shaped evaporative cooling radiator, an optimal passage structure suitable for self-circulation evaporative cooling is selected. Finally, The advantages of U-shaped evaporative cooling radiator are verified by simulation and experiment.
