Modeling and analysis of machine tool eccentric drive feed system

In order to study the dynamic characteristics and eccentricity of machine tool eccentric drive feed system, this paper presents a 5-dof lumped parameter model. The dynamic equations of the model are derived and natural frequencies of the system are solved, the finite element modal analysis is used to verify, and the electromechanical coupling model is established in combination with the motor control part. The results show that theoretical analysis results and finite element analysis results have a good agreement, the 5-dof model can effectively describe the dynamic characteristics of the feed system, and when the eccentricity is greater than 0.5, the stability of the feed system decreases significantly. The study provides a reference for the engineering application of eccentric drive feed system.
