Design of PCB and Power Supply for Portable 6-Lead Electrocardiogram (ECG)

Telemedicine has been one of the emerging health technologies in recent years. Due to the lack of data acquisition for cardiovascular disease to support online consulting, a portable 6-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) device is proposed as a solution. The patients should operate the device to provide accurate heart activity data on their own. The portable design should have an independent power source with all the components available. The power supply module consists of GeekCreit Adjustable Step Up 18650 Integrated Module and two 3.70 V lithium-ion 18650 parallel batteries with a 1500 mAh capacity for each battery. This allows the module to be rechargeable and has enough power to support the device for a minimum of 28.90 hours of usage. These components are mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) to achieve a portable form. The device’s weight is 416.09 g and has a dimension of $12.10\times 12.10\times 6.61 cm$. The PCB and power supply module design can support portable 6-lead ECG as a proposed solution.
