Hand Gesture-Based Home Automation System

Automation is a critical requirement in today's environment. Human-machine interfaces are changing all the time. Within this category, interfaces based on users' natural gestures allow these movements to be converted into instructions for a computing device without contacting physical surface. The usage and control of home equipment remotely or automatically is known as home automation. By offering a hand gesture-based home automation system, this proposed project work aims to lessen the difficulties of differently able persons, who can focus on their health rather to worrying about whether the house appliances are still on or where the switches for those items are located. The installation of a home automation system, which involves the control and monitoring of home appliances via hand gestures, is the outcome of this research.
