Low cost highly efficient of complete PV system

This paper presents an economic analysis of complete photovoltaic (PV) system (DC and AC loads). The complete system consists of an array of solar panels, a Cuk converter with fuzzy logic control (FLC) as a voltage regulator, a single phase inverter, and a microcontrol (MC). The MC is used to implement the control of the Cuk converter as a voltage regulator. The converter has to be very efficient, in order to transfer more energy to the DC load than a directly coupled system. This is achieved by using a simple soft-switched topology. A single phase inverter used to convert the DC voltage at the output of the Cuk converter to AC voltage at the desired voltage level.
