A Comparative Study of Different MPPT Algorithms and Implementation of Single Axis Solar Tracker

The world is fast moving towards renewable sources of energy like Solar, Wind and Hydro due to the depletion of non-renewable energy sources. Among the renewable energy sources, solar is widely used. This paper involves the simulation of Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) algorithms like Perturb and Observe (P&O), Grey Wolf optimisation (GWO) and Particle Swarm optimisation (PSO). A Single Axis Solar Tracker is implemented in Arduino UNO microcontroller to get maximum energy output by tracking the sun throughout the day.
