Retracted: Maximizing Quality of Service for IoT based Edge Environments using Lightweight AI

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is evolving extremely quickly, producing a vast ecosystem of connected smart devices that must be controlled and managed by end applications or consumers. Quality of Service (QoS) decreases when the service of IoT requirements met. The easiest way to solve this problem is to quickly identify the gadget that best suits the user's needs. It is difficult to provide effective and context-aware resource discovery in IoT applications. Resource finding can be facilitated by semantic intelligence. In this study, we suggest semantic enhancement of the COAP protocol for resource discovery. Resources are modelled semantically, and the COAP protocol's CORE Link format is changed to include semantic data. In order to support distributed topologies, we have also presented a framework that takes into account the social relationships between the devices. We carried out the trials using the COAP protocol's semantically enhanced COOJA simulator on CONTIKI OS. The COAP CORE Resource Directory and Link Format were semantically enhanced, and their efficacy is assessed.
