Performance of Alumnium Ion Battery with Different Cathode Materials

Aluminum is the most abundant element on the earth’s crust, which makes it more prominent in usage for battery technology. But the material which can hold aluminum ions for longer term is still in process, at present for aluminum all it is used a carbon material and aqueous electrolyte, which is making to loss its sustainability. In order to have a discharging and charging capacity high and storage much energy for a renewable energy source is main focus of the project. In order to maintain it a few different materials for anode and cathode material are considered for the battery, while retaining the characteristics of electrolyte. In result of test the anode and cathode materials with respect to that of charging and discharging characteristics a suitable material combination is presented.
