Web-based Agricultural Monitoring and Sales Management System

In the era of modernization that is flooded with various technologies such as software engineering, data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), the way that a society functions has changed dramatically as well. These changes include increased productivity, efficiency and a better quality of life in general. While technology itself is a broad term and could be applied essentially at every field, there is one particular sector that goes under the radar and is not being talked as much as other sectors which is the agriculture sector. The agriculture sector remains to be one of the most important sectors that cannot be separated from human lives, providing essential sustenance to humans as it fulfils one of the most crucial needs, - food. Therefore, with how much other fields are being enhanced with technology, it is also the time for us to take a look at how technology could be employed at this field to create something meaningful that is aimed at increasing the productivity and efficiency of agricultural farming. To elaborate more, the project is aimed at how agricultural farming can be improved with the expertise available through software engineering and more specifically through the proposed idea of a Web-based Agricultural Monitoring and Sales Management System.
