Systematic Literature Review: Implementation Of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture

The world's population is expected to grow by 2 billion by 2050, according to a survey conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization, while the arable area is only 5%. The advent of modern technology in agriculture helps to speed up the task and reduce costs. This technology can provide big changes for agriculture, especially for farmers. This modern technology was created with the hope of collaborating with farmers to expand the land and accelerate the process of plant growth. And we concluded that AI advances are not to replace farmers, but they can collaborate to speed up the work process. AI provides many benefits for the agricultural sector, but from the benefits provided by AI, some risks must be borne. However, the impact of AI technology on the role of farmers is still unclear. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prove the impact felt by farmers from the use of AI technology in managing agricultural land. In this study, the author conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to understand the impact of applying the concept of precision agriculture. In general, precision agriculture is a sophisticated concept that is applied in the agricultural sector using modern technology. Precision agriculture uses sensors and software to ensure crop growth and optimize productivity.
