Bit Loading of GFDM based Communication System for IoT Applications

Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the 5G application, It is used in Vehicle communication and many such applications for faster and reliable communication. To achieve reliable communication and high data rate, a better modulation technique is required than the existing technologies like OFDM. One such technique is a Non-Orthogonal Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) technique. To understand the channel characteristics of the signal transmitted, Least Square and Least Mean Square Channel Estimation is performed. Bit Loading is performed to increase the number of users. for linear and spline interpolation. The BER performance of LMS channel estimation is better than LS channel estimation. Maximum power is allocated to each subcarrier using Water Filling Algorithm with rate maximization technique.
