Fabrication and Analysis of Thermoelectric Generator-Integrated Shoes for Hiking

Hiking is a physical activity with many benefits. However, a health monitoring device is needed to avoid the possibility of illness or injury while hiking. Thermoelectric generator-integrated shoes can take advantage of the difference of temperature between a human foot and mountain land to generate electrical energy for the power needs of health monitoring devices. In the study, the initial design of thermoelectric generator-integrated shoes could generate electrical energy from the heat. Yet, further studies are needed to increase the output of voltage and power in the future.
