Study of Conduction Emissions of Household Appliances

This paper aims to determine and reduce emissions through conduction in the supply networks of household appliances. In order to be able to suppress these emissions, it was necessary to test the level of disturbances emitted by conduction in the supply network, both by numerical modelling and by tests performed in the laboratory. Numerical modelling of the filters was necessary in choosing a filter corresponding to the tested devices. Using the results obtained from the test of the disturbances performed in the supply network, the filter was optimized to suppress these disturbances, so that the analysed equipment complies with the standard SR EN 55014-1 Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements for household appliances, power tools and similar appliances.
