Preliminary study on ozone converter

In order to protect the fiber membrane of the membrane separation module in the aircraft inerting system from high-altitude ozone corrosion, an ozone converter needs to be added between the aircraft bleed and the membrane separation module to reduce the ozone concentration and improve the service life of the aircraft inerting system. In this article, an ozone converter of aircraft inerting system is designed, which has the characteristics of simple structure and high catalytic efficiency of ozone catalyst. Through the research on the catalytic mechanism of ozone catalyst, an ozone detection device is designed to detect the ozone content. At the same time, the supporting inlet valve is designed to ensure the gas stability of the outlet and increase the contact area with the nitrogen separation membrane. The test verifies the demand of the ozone converter in the aircraft inerting system, which provides ideas for further research.
