The Concept of an Automated Biotechnological Filter for Air Purification

Air pollution is a complex problem that needs to be analyzed from different angles. The issue of air pollution is especially critical in large cities, where many people are concentrated, and the highest risks of health deterioration are observed. A unique solution is proposed to solve the problem in large cities and improve citizens' quality of life. A pilot prototype of a biotechnological system is being developed - a filter using moss sphagnum. The solution acts as an air filter, absorbs fine dust, purifies the air, and creates a favourable space. The proposed solution includes automated systems that support the viability of the selected mosses in real-time mode. These systems automatically provide the required temperature, humidity, shade, water, and other conditions. Control systems are operated flawlessly, as this can adversely affect plants. A multivariable control system has been formulated that has proven to be highly effective for the problem.
