Air-to-Ground Channel Characterization for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Based on Field Measurements in 5G at 3.5 GHz

The last years have seen an unprecedented interest in the utilization of aerial platforms not only to support applications (e.g. monitoring) but also to assist in relaying signals from terrestrial networks. In this new paradigm, it is capital to have an estimation of the communication channel, which is quite different from the terrestrial channel.
