The Sinter Mixture Moisture Control System Based on Fuzzy PID

Sintering production, which provides raw materials for blast furnace the ironmaking, is an important part of ironmaking industry. The production and quality of the sinter are closely related to the air permeability of the sinter mixture, and the appropriate moisture content can ensure the air permeability of the mixture. To control the moisture in the mixture accurately, according to the actual situation of a sintering plant and the process requirements of adding water to the sinter to improve the production quality, automatic water adding system based on PLC is designed, and the hardware selection and software design are carried out. The final method is used in an industrial test in a sintering plant, and the feasibility and superiority of the automatic water addition control system are proved.
