Systems for Remote Access to FPGA Development Boards: Review

This report presents the study results of remote access systems for FPGA development hardware during the period 2008–2021. The possibilities and development of these systems are considered. The study made it possible to define the requirements and the expected final results in the implementation of a new system for remote access to FPGA development hardware, which is in the process of implementation in the “Automated design” laboratory at the KST department of the Technical University - Gabrovo.
