Analysis of Pima Indian Diabetes Using KNN Classifier and Support Vector Machine Technique

Diabetes has become a common disease and there are millions of people suffering from diabetes all over the world, of which women are most affected by this disease. It is most prevailing that it is more among southern parts of India [21].There are research studies based on this and of course the research and experiments were based on this in mind in this paper. It is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Clinical data can be used to diagnose and predict their disease with advanced technology. This paper, predicts the diabetes of PIMA Indian by taking the clinical data. Therefore, supervised learning algorithms have been used such as SVM and KNN. By analyzing certain diagnostic measurements included in a dataset, these techniques predict whether a patient has diabetes. The results obtained through the study were quiet promising and leads to good results.
