Design of Multi-band MIMO Antenna for 5G Wireless Applications

This research shows a multi-band multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with four radiating elements. The CST programme is used to design and simulate antennas. PEC is used for the ground and patch, while FR4 (lossy) is used for the substrate, which measures 130 mm x 74 mm x 1.6 mm. L-Slot can be incorporated into a rectangular microstrip antenna measuring 21 mm x 18 mm x 0.035 mm to provide the required bands.3.28-3.72 GHz, 4.33-5.25 GHz, and 5.81-6.00 GHz are among the frequencies covered. At operational frequencies of 3.416 GHz, 5.04 GHz, and 5.896 GHz, the reflection coefficients of four antennas are -21.815 dB, -32.345 dB, and -14.114 dB, respectively. Wi-Fi, Wi-MAX, WLAN, and 5G are all applications that use this frequency. The VSWR, impedance, reflection coefficient, mutual coupling, radiation pattern, gain, directivity, surface current of an antenna are all measured. The geometry of the provided antenna, as well as related factors such as S-parameters, radiation pattern plots, gain, directivity values, are shown and explored in detail in this paper.
