Modeling Radiating Systems for the GPS Applications

The investigation of the properties of radiation for the cosmic object including quasars ad pulsars is carried out in order to elaborate the tolls for the GPS application. The conducted study allows to decide that both the reflector antennas (radio telescopes) and quasi-optical receiving and transmission systems can be applied for the receiving/transmission needs. The radiation pattern of the above system are calculated and analyzed from the point of view of their use in the GPS. The discussed optimization problems allow to create the radiation of used antennas with the desired performances.
