Design of Fuzzy Logic Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficiency And Security in Wsn’s

Wireless sensor networks have two fundamental challenges: energy efficiency and safe transmission (WSNs). Furthermore, because WSNs are made up of energy-constrained sensor nodes, the energy level at each node must be maintained to extend the network’s lifetime. The clustering method is one of the key solutions to the WSN’s energy consumption problem. The present clustering techniques have a key flaw in that all nodes are assumed to be trustworthy, which is not the case. However, because security is one of the most critical design challenges in WSN, it is crucial to handle the security issue throughout the clustering process. The use of a trust-based system to assure safe transmission is a potential strategy. As a result, a trust-based security model is developed in this study to handle security challenges created by rogue nodes and pick a trustworthy node as Cluster Leader (CL). As a result, the Fuzzy Logic based Energy Aware Secure Clustering algorithm (FBEASC) is presented as an integrated trust aware and energy efficient algorithm for the successful election of a trustworthy and energy efficient node as Cluster leader (CL). When compared to other existing works, the simulation results reveal that the proposed work gives superior outcomes in terms of extending network life time and ensuring safe data transfer.
