Game Theory based Method for Spectrum Management in Cognitive Radio-WSN Applications

The cognitive radio network (CRN) is an unique network that aims to increase the efficiency with which the radio electromagnetic spectrum, a valuable natural resource, is used. Model of static game pertaining to sharing frequency spectrum amongst numerous secondary and primary entities is considered in this work. The primary user's spectrum dynamic pricing function and quadratic cost function are provided. Pricing and cost functions of primary consumers represent the utility function. The Nash equilibrium point of the pricing game has been identified by simulation of the static game of primary users, and the greatest utility of the primary users has been validated at the Nash equilibrium point.
