Active Pressure Control and Experimental Application Based on Automotive Hydraulic Control Unit

Brake by wire system can realize active braking and adjust wheel braking force independent on driver's operation, which is the key technology of autonomous vehicle. The hydraulic pressure adjustment during active braking plays a role to realize the upper level's planning. The working mode of the hydraulic control unit for active braking is systematically analyzed, and the hydraulic response characteristics of the valve are tested and analyzed on the experimental bench. Then, a hydraulic control method using valve regulation is proposed. Finally, the application verification and comparative analysis are carried out through experiments.
