Adaptive Output-Constrained Tracking Control for Stochastic Nonlinear Systems Based on the TD Method

This note presents a novel adaptive control tactic for stochastic nonlinear systems with asymmetric output constraints. Firstly, a new-style Barrier nonlinear function is introduced to deal with the constrained system output, correspondingly, and the new coordinate transformations are constructed to carry out the tracking control without using the Barrier Lyapunov function. Subsequently, the innovative tracking differentiator (TD) method is utilized to compensate for the influence of “explosion of complexity”, and the error compensation signals which are in connection with the output constraint conditions are constructed to deal with the filter errors result from the TD. Under the constructed control tactic, all signals are bounded and the output tracks the desired signal very well without violating the constraint conditions. Finally, the availability of the above tactic is illustrated through the simulations.
