Set Controllability Approach to Fault Detection of Boolean Control Networks

In this article, a set controllability method is presented for investigating the fault detection of Boolean control networks (BCNs). By adopting the algebraic form of BCNs, a parallel system is constructed, which can facilitate the study. Then, using the set controllability approach, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented to solve the fault detection problem of BCNs. Specifically, the relation between set controllability and fault detection is revealed. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the obtained results.
