Optimal Scheduling of Ground Source Heat Pump Based on a New Variable Neighborhood Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

Aiming at the problems of low operating efficiency and high operating cost in the actual application of the ground source heat pump system(GSHPs), a New Variable Neighborhood Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm(NVNPSO) is proposed to improve GSHPs' operational efficiency. The NVNPSO algorithm is simulated on a surface water source heat pump system(SWSHPs) in the central region, and compared with the current scheduling strategy and the other three optimization algorithms. The simulation found that the proposed algorithm in this paper is significantly better than other three optimization algorithms and the current scheduling strategy, which effectively reduces the operating cost of the system. Experimental results show that the NVNPSO algorithm is an effective method to solve the optimal scheduling of SWSHPs.
