Investigation of Poly-Si TFT Based U-shaped Channel Synaptic Device

In order to overcome the limitations of serial data processing in von Neumann structure, neuromorphic system that processes data in parallel is in the spotlight. The spiking neural network (SNN)-based hardware neuromorphic system exhibits efficient information processing ability by mimicking actual human neural transmission [1]–[2]. In a hardware-based neuromorphic system, various synaptic device candidates are being studied. In the case of a flash-type synaptic device, it shows optimal memory characteristics based on the continuous research from the industry and academia.
