The Use of Artificial Intelligence Capabilities in Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Major Challenges and Key Benefits

This study seeks to contribute to identifying the use of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in logistics and supply chain management (SCM) through a systematic classification of its notable capabilities, major challenges, and key benefits. To examine the existing technical gap of AI in logistics and SCM, this research intended to demonstrate the current AI capabilities, challenges, and benefits that can help to enhance the use of AI in logistics and SCM at both the theoretical and practical levels. Using simple random sampling technique, the required data will be gathered via a survey instrument from 60 firms that adopted and effectively using AI in managing logistics and supply chain.
