The Development of Early Warning System for College English Academic Performance Based by Big Data Computation

With the rise and development of big data technology, data mining has been applied to various education fields. Particularly, the use of data mining to predict students' academic performance has been explored by educators to optimize teaching decisions. By contrast, there still lacks a set of cohesive frameworks on how to use this big data technology in college English teaching, and how to incorporate data mining into a warning system needs to be further elucidated. In this context, we first analyzed the necessity of early warning for the college English academic performance, and then expatiated the development paths and implementation frameworks based on big data. We studied the technical framework of early warning for the college English academic performance to help teachers find problems and improve English teaching effects.
