Research on carbon footprint tracking technology of power grid based on virtual power flow and loss sharing

This paper proposes a carbon footprint tracking algorithm for the grid based on virtual flow and loss apportionment. Firstly, the actual physical flow on each line is decomposed into the virtual tidal power subordinate to each power source; secondly, the circuit balance theory is used to analyze the proportional relationship between the node outflow line and inflow line power, and the node power balance equation is used to construct a set of unknown quantity equations for the virtual flow of the circuit for flow decomposition. On this basis, the results of the tidal current dissection are used to apportion the responsibility of network loss. Finally, the tidal current-carbon flow mapping relationship is solved using the differentiated carbon emission factors of each power source to trace the sources of carbon emissions generated by the grid load and network losses. The algorithms and effects are verified for the actual grid, and the carbon flow paths and carbon emission dynamics of the source network load can be accurately solved.
