Lightweight Authentication approach for Marine Internet of Things

The marine industry is the backbone of the export and import trading system of the country. It plays a significant role in the economy of the country. However, the conventional approaches used for communication are inefficient and challenging. Therefore, advanced information and communication have been applied to provide better services in the maritime. However, with the advantage of technology, security and privacy concerns also arise. Therefore, we proposed a lightweight authentication approach to provide better services to the marine industry. The thorough correctness of the designed proposed scheme has been analyzed using Burrows-Abadi-Needham (BAN) Logic. Furthermore, it is formally simulated using AVISPA Tool.
