Mach-Zehnder Modulator Based on Low Loss Hybrid Plasmon Polariton Waveguide

A low-loss hybrid plasmon polariton polymer modulator is proposed. A half-wave voltage-length product of $0.078 \mathrm{V}\cdot$ mm and a propagation loss of 0.2 dB/mm are estimated, together with over 650 GHz bandwidth for a $10- \mu \mathrm{m}$-long device.
