Review on Different Algorithm of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM)

IPMSM has been widely applied in EV, AC compressor, aviation industry. It is having advantages like less torque ripple, high power density, high torque inertia ratio, fast dynamic response and strong overload capacity. It has served to be useful in different variable speed drives and technological fields due to its vast qualities like high power density, variable-speed operation for a wide range, compact size, prolonged bearing grease life and high efficiency. It is the main factor in the propulsion system of an electric hybrid vehicle. Throughout the decades, many works have been published to meet the standard need and decrease the loop holes. This paper presents various topologies, models and concepts that have been proposed to increase the efficiency and the output factors of the electric vehicles like speed and torque. Strategies like MTPA, combined MTPA and ME, MRAC, MTPV, SMC and Fuzzy mode logic have been reviewed. The results show that many improvements have been made in different factors of IPMSM.
