Virtual Optical Channels: Network-Sliced Transmission with Ultra-Wideband Interface

A high baudrate physical optical transceiver is shared among multiple network-sliced services by introducing virtual optical channels. This technique reduces the number of physical optical transceivers to 17% of that for conventional single-service bandwidth-variable solution.
