A new method for DOA estimation in nonstationary environments

The maximum likelihood (ML) estimation of the direction-of-arrival (DOA) of multiple rapidly moving sources is derived. Simulation results show that this nonparametric technique is capable of resolving closely spaced sources provided that their velocities are sufficiently different.
