A Portable Wireless Sleep Monitor System Using My RIO 1900

Sleep is one of the utmost fundamental components of human life. Low-quality sleep can harm one's health, thus it's important to avoid undesirable sleeping postures linked to personal health issues to get a good night's sleep. Even after getting the recommended amount of sleep, one can wake up in pain, discomfort, and drowsiness. This is primarily related to a poor sleeping posture. However, most existing sleep monitoring systems only provide quantitative data on sleep patterns and length at each sleep stage, rather than focusing on the impact sleep has on sleep quality. The proposed work created a sleep position tracking system that properly records sleep poses. By changing the position of the sleep, the system, which consisted of myRIO setup using LabVIEW IDE, was able to examine the mechanism of the sleep poses effects. According to our testing results, the recommended method efficiently and reliably classifies four SP motions for tracking sleep poses, sleep motion data generated using myRIO accelerometer sensing, and four sleep pose (SP) motions from four sleep posture. As a result, it serves as a critical component in the development of complete sleep-related applications.
