Event-based control of a damped linear Schrödinger equation

This paper presents the design of an event-triggering mechanism for the damped linear Schrödinger equation. Localized damping is considered. The absence of any accumulation points of the time updates sequence is proven, ensuring the avoidance of Zeno behavior. The global exponential stability is ensured through some energy estimates exploiting observability inequality. An illustrative example based on the one dimensional Schrödinger equation demonstrates the efficiency of the results.
