Application of TRIZ Theory in Design of Jig of Robot Arm Assembly Platform

With the changes of the times, products tend to be customized and innovative designs. Therefore, product manufacturing has gradually changed from mass production to small and diverse production. However, a small amount of diversified production is bound to increase labor costs. Therefore, businesses expect to build smart production lines to overcome the encountered production problems. In order to realize automated and intelligent production, various factories have adopted robotic arms for production assembly. Moreover, during the production and assembly process of the robotic arm, the design of the jig has a great influence on the efficiency of production. Thus, the main purpose of this research is to apply TRIZ theory to improve the jig design of the robotic arm assembly platform. We use the TRIZ contradiction matrix to find a solution and apply it to the assembly process to verify the effectiveness of the improvement. The research result expects to provide a way of thinking about solving design problems.
