Various Controllers Design for Lime Kiln Unit of Paper Mill

All the industrial chemical processes suffer the occurrence of unmeasured & the measured disturbances. An efficient control system is one which nullifies the disturbance effect as early as possible otherwise the developed controller’s performance will undergo a significant fall. In the present research paper, the lime kiln unit of the paper factory is considered. First of all, the ZN based control system is designed to regulate the front end temperature. Then other controllers such as SIMC, fuzzy, and LQG are designed to enhance the control performance. The comparison of all the developed control systems is also highlighted for set-point tracking and disturbance cancellation in this research work. All simulation work has been performed in MATLAB.
