Abstract:

Network visualization is used widely and the existing network simulators severely are esoteric to intellects that possess a technical understanding of complex programming languages. Simple Network Simulators bridges the prerequisite knowledge gap by facilitating a web interface that demands no setup. It is easy to understand, custom-tailored and requires minimal operating knowledge. This software can be used to simulate concepts involving network protocols, packet sniffing attacks and key exchange algorithms in a visual manner that is simple to comprehend by a dilettante. This simulator also allows tracing of a packet from source to destination using colour marking, so can be used to develop and test new algorithms, and see how they process the packets.
