Performance Analysis of OFDM signal using Different Modulation Schemes with Least Square Channel Estimation Technique

Channel estimation based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) method can achieve a high data rate and improve the reliability that is impacting on the bit error rate (BER) performance of the OFDM system model. This paper analyses the performance of the least square (LS) channel estimator in OFDM by transmitting image signals. The performance analysis of the result of BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK, 16QAM, 32QAM, and 64QAM under OFDM with the least square channel estimation technique is presented. The simulated results show that the BPSK transmits the image signal better with the least square channel estimator when compared with other modulation schemes.
